Protection for the iPod

I recently got an iPod as a gift from a sibling who got it for free. As luck would have it, it was stolen but then that same sibling won another and gave it to me. WOOHOO! Of course now I have no reasonable expectation that if anything at all happens to this one that I will get yet another as a freebie so I watch out for it. I keep it in safe places away from small hands and I installed an alarm to keep it away from sticky fingers (really that’s for everything but you get my drift). Despite all that, I’m continually worrying that pulling it out of it’s port will somehow damage it or that it will get dropped and never work again or (worst of all possible problems) it might get scratched up. And this is a fine looking red iPod I’ve got here.  So I’m looking for additional protection. I found an ipod case that’s made of the same material as is used on the leading edge of helicopter blades to protect them. If you need something like this for your devices, you should look into the invisibleSHIELD as they call it at shieldzone.com.  They have covers available in shapes and sizes to fit most devices including that iPhone you just got for Christmas (congratulations, you have made me jealous).
