If you’re in the middle of wiring your home for network access or even just for speakers or video. CAT6 cable is a fairly inexpensive way to run wire just about everywhere. I even managed to use CAT6 cable to run a component video connection about 50 feet at a much greater discount than actually buying 50 feet of component cable.
