This could be a golden opportunity for someone aspiring to directing, production or marketing and advertising. You can get your creative juices flowing and see what comes of your best effort. Even if you don’t win, you’ll have something to add to your portfolio when you go out job hunting in your chosen field.I can picture it now. You enter the interview and they say they’re looking for someone with experience. You say you have experience (sure, unpaid but still experience) and you show them your work. If you’re trying to get into directing and the like, they’ll love the unexpected direction you took the commercial. If you’re looking into getting into advertising, they’ll ask you to develop the one commercial into a multi faceted campaign as a challenge to your abilities. The next day you come back with action figure Dockers and blow them out of the water, landing the job.This is going to be great!
