Now, that wasn’t exactly fair. GI Joe: The Movie could turn out to be the greatest hit and most remarkable piece of cinema ever produced. It could score an emotional hit on the entire world and go down as not only the best film of the year but greatest adaptation of a cartoon ever. The plotline and characters could be exact matches to everything that everyone remembers and thinks they remember about the original show. It could go on to boost military enlistments and restore worldwide faith in the American military. It could start an entire series of films, each better than the last, that culminates in the greatest triumph of cinematic art that humankind has or will ever create.
It could.
I just doubt it.
