If you are thinking of ‘retooling’ and going into a new career, consider the possibility of massage therapy. Who among us has not wished for a massage when we got home from a long day’s work? Well, believe it or not, there are those who actually go ahead and get a massage (I did this once myself and it was wonderful). Message Therapist Jobs (of course I mean massage therapist jobs) do need certification in many places so you need to go to class, but if you’re one of those people who thinks you give great massages but really don’t, you’ll just be doing us all a favor:)

I must admit I don’t actually have any personal experience with GPS but when you hear about people following the thing’s directions and ultimately driving into a ditch or something, you have to think that you should get the best one around. This is especially true for those who make driving their living – like truckers. If you want the best trucker GPS, you should definitely check into what exactly makes it work and how well it will be updated after you get it.

Online is Fine

If you’ve got a job but you’re looking to further your education and maybe switch professions, you can look into the convenience of an online business degree. I’ve taken several online classes myself and as long as you set a schedule for yourself, it saves a lot of time over going in to class 3 or 4 times a week. Also, because of lower overhead, these classes may be cheaper than those at regular universities.

An online business degree is something to think about.

You’re looking for a job, you don’t think you’re ever going to find one in your field so you’ve decided you might consider going back to school. You’re going to ‘re-tool’ you skill set. There are still growing industries out there that are worthwhile to look at even during tough economic times. Tech jobs, nursing, business administration are just a few of those that come to mind.

If you’re unemployed think about how much you’re willing to do to get a job. Some of these careers can be begun after only a few months of schooling if you’re looking at an entry level job. Others require a few years. Of course these usually pay more. Decide what you want and then go for it.

Career Field Choices

They say that the technical field is one of the few career fields that continues to grow. So if you know what pci hosting is, you’re probably tech savy enough to get yourself an education in this field and then parlay your talent into a full fledged job.

On the other hand, if you are already a doctor, the health industry is hiring. They pay gets worse as the years go by but for now it’s probably still a bonanza for you.

Switching Jobs?

Have you considered banking careers? Sure it seems like right now isn’t the best time to venture into that industry, but if you really think that, then you’re also probably hiding your life savings in your mattress.

Banks are firmly backed by the government and really haven’t suffered much in the way of layoffs – unless the bank has gone completely under. If you find a place for yourself at a well established and well managed bank, a career like this can be quite lucrative.

Even though the economy is still in trouble and jobs are hard to come by, you still need to keep your head up and keep looking for work. The unemployment rate is higher than it has been in quite a while, but you won’t find a job if you don’t look for one. If your looking for a job in the Philly area, maybe you can get one of the available philadelphia airport jobs. Good luck and good hunting!

How do you spell ‘bad day at work’? Not R-O-L-A-I-D-S. I spell it 2-M-O-U-N-T-A-I-N-D-E-W-S-A-N-D-A-S-L-I-C-E-O-F-P-I-Z-Z-A. Can’t work anymore?

For those unfortunate that have recently been disabled in some way and are no longer able to work, the economy makes this a tough time to be unable to work. Fortunately, the government has set up a program for social security disability. This website provides a great amount of information about the program and the amount of money that is spend each year helping people out.

I just got to go back to work today and they started us out with our annual, “Don’t do this, report that” meeting. It’s totally dull but also totally informative and necessary. I know when I needed this information during the middle of last year, all I could think was, “What did they say I’m supposed to do now?” So this time I took notes. If what happened last year happens again, I’m ready. It would be a good thing if there was no repeat though.
