Rock stars need speakers. No matter what you do, you have to make sure you’re heard over the din of the crowd that came to see you. And you have to be able to hear yourself in your JBL Control 5 monitor. So, you want to always make sure that your equipment is high quality. I know there’s the desire when you’re just starting out to be able to get the cheapest gear so you can make the most money but when you factor in the inevitable replacement costs, going for quality over price becomes REALLY important.
Keep that in mind when you buy!

Now that Kodak finds itself in troubled financial times, it might be good to find another camera maker. Fuji digital cameras have a good reputation and I intend to look into their products when it comes time for me to upgrade. Which might be sooner than I want – I dropped my camera a while back and now the shutter doesn’t open and close the way it is supposed to.

I am finally admitting to myself my envy for people who have tablets. I keep thinking to myself that I want to spend my money some other way, but it’s not true. I try to tell myslef that if I just get something like a smart phone, it’ll be good enough, but I know I’m just lying to myself. I know that the instant I get a windfall of several hundred dollars, I’m going to put it on my shopping list. At least now I am being honest with myself.

If you’re in the mood to try online dating but not sure about how to do it, I encourage you to go the free online dating route. Certainly, if the company is making you pay large amounts of money up front when Facebook can do run it’s website with just ad revenue, then it’s not worth it. What if you pay and don’t find someone – do you get a refund?
Free is the way to go. So go.

Apparently you can look for Acid cigars free shipping. I personally wouldn’t recommend smoking them for health reasons, but cigars are a traditional gift for the proud papa to pass out when a baby is born and make a nice display piece. And I’m not so much of a stick in the mud that I do not whole heartedly endorse smoking a good cigar after having taken an alien ship into outer space to infiltrate the lead ship of an invading hoard and defeating them by implanting a virus in their mainframe.
Then I say, smoke away:)

It won’t be long before I’m back in the market for a digital camera. My husband is looking at the $50,000 version which we’ll be able to afford a couple years after we die. I am looking at those slr cameras that are lots more affordable and still give high quality pictures. It’s not like I need to take slow motion film at 1000 frames per second. I just want to take pictures at my kids birthday parties.

My husband sometimes has trouble looking for wedding anniversary gifts for wife, but I never seem to have any problems. I take the kids to the store with me and point them in the direction of the men’s things and have them pick something out. Then I just say that the kids picked it out and he can’t be disappointed. This may stop working in a few years when they out grow cute but until then I’m golden.

Even though we know several people who are likely to have new children soon, I’m sad to say we aren’t likely to see many birth announcements. It seems like the way these things are announced now is over the grapevine. I think it’s time birth announcements made a come back. Not only would it be a boon for the postal business, it is fun to get to know the stats of the little one and sometimes see nice, cute pictures. So if you know someone who is going to have a kid soon, remind them about this tradition and volunteer to do the leg work if they write the check. That’ll help them out and they’ll probably like the idea enough to do the same for the next family.

Diring our recent travels this summer, I came across a lot of different jewelry including glass necklaces and moissanite rings. I managed to pick up one of the glass necklaces with some interesting swirly colors in it at a reasonable price (in other words super cheap – it’ll probably break the first time I drop it). I had all my necklaces and other things stolen a few years ago and I’m just starting to replenish my stash so I hope to include a wide variety of interesting jewelry in the future.

There are millions of postcards in bridal magazines that let you subscribe to wedding invitation catalogs. What they usually don’t have, at least in my experience, is a way for you to buy bridal shower invitations. Which means there’s no way for the host to buy bridal shower invitations (since we all know you don’t host your own bridal shower – unless you’re me but I’m a bit crass). You have to find another way to fill this particular bridal need.

We’ve all seen the sign twirlers on the corner (If you haven’t, just wait. They’ll make it to your town soon and they’re GOOD) pointing the way to a random, no name place where you can sell your gold for cash. But why try a random one when you can find one online and do a little research on it before using it? Goldfellow gold for cash is just such a place. If you’re looking to sell your gold, you can check it out.

Since my sister is a big fan of Apple and their products, I know she would be interested in getting some Apple store coupons. It seems like every other day she is in the store looking for some good software or checking out their latest gadget. Truth be told, I’m more that happy to tag along since I like to do the same thing.

Maybe you’ve found that you don’t get the coverage you want in the places you want with your cell phone. Sure, coverage is getting better every day, but do you want to wait? I didn’t think so. You may want to look into what a wireless cellular booster can do for you. I don’t think it will rejuvenate your skin cells over the internet.

Wow! A really cool place to get a gift for your next special celebration is Personal Creations. They have gift ideas for everything from anniversaries to First Communion and the gifts can be personalized. The pricing is very reasonable as well. I’m always trying to figure out what to get people for their birthdays or for Mother’s Day but now I can get some very good ideas online.

I recently went to a store that had the old school way of selling things – with price tags. I thought how much easier it would be if they had a laser barcode scanner. Not just for them, but me too since those things are much faster. It was a new store and they were clearly just getting on their feet so I’m not going to complain, but I bet in a year or so, they’ll realize they need to join the electronic age and get some fast POS equipment.

Some trucks come with a trailer hitch but not all, so if you’ve decided to use your truck to haul a load, consider a Curt trailer hitch.
You need to make sure that the hitch will be strong enough for what you plan to use it for but most of the larger trucks are build to carry a big payload (or at least they say so in the commercials).

If you’re the kind of outdoor person who finds themselves regularly riding their bike along some of those wonderful hiking trails that can be found everywhere, you might also find yourself in need of a way to get your bike to the trail. Yakima bike racks might be the solution. They are a type of roof rack that allows you to mount your bike to the roof of your car and take it out to those distant trails that really allow you to test your skills.
Have fun!

If you are one of the many coaches out there who plans to give sports trophies out at the end of the season or at the end of the year banquet, you’re probably always on the look out for a good place to buy them. There’s the old standby (the place your team or school has bought them from every year) but it can’t hurt to shop around from time to time to see if there’s a better deal out there. Spend your savings on new uniforms.

One day we’re going to need a new couch (our children go through couches like water through a sieve). I don’t know if we’ll get a modern sofa or an old fashioned couch but if we still have kids around, it’s gonna be brown. I covet those beautiful white couches they sell at stores but I know how impractical they are unless your planning on buying them and immediately transporting them to a dust free museum where no one will ever touch it.
My tastes do tend toward the more colorful so one day in the distant future (probably after color is outlawed) I will buy a red couch and put brown pillows on it so that I can be the complete opposite of what I am now.

If you’re like me and you hear the phrase ‘Atlantic salt‘ you probably think sea salt from the Atlantic Ocean. And then you, like me, would be wrong and very interested to find ou that this is a type of knife. With a serrated edge or not and always with a bit of rust resistance, this is an all weather type of knife that can come in handy on land or on the sea.

Lovely in yellow.
