It’s a little late for Prom season but if your school year goes long, this still might be helpful. Limo service Tampa FL would be useful for those living in that area. You have to find something that is reasonably priced or you need to find a bunch of people to split the bill with and you have to start somewhere. When I went to Prom, we showed up in my boyfriend’s car. A year later was when he rented a limo to surprise me.

Polite Crud

Yikes – the muck at the bottom of my pool has really gotten gross. I tried vaccuuming today and only made it a third of the way through before I had to backflush. The weird thing is that the water is crystal clear. Usually when I get this kind of muck it pretty much gets everywhere but this time it’s politly sticking to the sides waiting for me to suck it up.

I like this crud a lot more than last year’s crud!

With all they hype surrounding the ‘appearance’ of Tupac last month at that famous concert that I’d never heard of before, I’m beginning to think we’re seeing the end of the live performance. Why be there when you can have your hologram take your place? Performers won’t make mistakes (unless they decide to include them on purpose) and that also means the end of the ‘wardrobe malfunction ala Janet Jackson, though not ala Kanye.

I’m being so hip and with it, I better stop.

Turns Out, I’m Spoiled

I haven’t been to the movies lately and I haven’t been playing board games either. The bulb has burned out on the projector and my Playstation isn’t working. The DVD player is on the fritz and I cancelled my cell phone service because it was getting too expensive. All I have left is my Nook.

Oh, what to do about my first world problems.

Spring Has Sprung

I’m going mad because I haven’t been able to really enjoy the great weather we’re having. I’ve been pent up behind a window that looks out on the beauty but keeps me away from it. There’s also the computer screen that’s between me and the window, so it’s not like it’s the window’s fault. I do, however, get to spend a ton of time in my car. Which gets too hot in this weather. Don’t tell me to roll down the windows. I can’t explain it, but it seems to make my eardrums flap. Happily, it does not have the same effect on my ears.

Humorous Anecdote

As is my habit from time to time, I like to share a story about my children. In this case it involves my oldest daughter. We had discussed how Easter isn’t always on the same day and how I think it may even happen in March every once in a while. She said, “You should look it up.” I said, “I could look in an almanac.”

She paused and politely corrected my pronunciation, “In – ter – net.”

Christmas Excess

I feel overwhelmed by the season. It’s very close to Christmas and I feel like I have no time to finish everything that needs to be done. Somehow I’ll muddle through, never fear.

Disappointed

Despite the threat of rain, I doubt it will actually happen. Last night the wind was 40mph and not a drop at my place. Tonight there are ominous clouds everywhere except overhead. I’m tired of being disappointed by my ‘monsoon’.

The great wind that carried me through the past week has now left me and I have crashed. I can’t even seem to make a steady stream of diet Mtn Dew give me a pick me up. Fortunately I’ve finished the homework for my class and don’t need to worry about that. Just need to get up at 5 in the morning and everything will be fine.

How to Get to Sleep

What are some of your favorite sleeping aids?

For me, the very best one is a good back scratching. Don’t scratch my back while I’m driving or we’ll crash. Another is good food – the kind that’s freakishly delicious as well as good for me (at least kind of anyway) so a big artichoke or some nicely grilled steak are helpers in a good night’s sleep for me.

Any others out there?
