Weight loss stuff

Wednesday, March 24th, 2010

Where do I go to get all of my weight loss products? It’s a common question, asked by thousands of people every day on the internet. Thankfully, there are websites on the internet specially designed to answer this question. No matter what kind of product you are looking for. If you want to lose weight, and if you are online. And if you can find them. Maybe you can hire… weight loss products.

Give Me New TV

Wednesday, March 24th, 2010

How long has it been since I saw a non-rerun show? I’m getting tired of waiting for my dramas to come back from hiatus. I think they took a break before the Olympics started and even though CBS.com said that Bones would be returning Mar 18th I didn’t see a new episode when I tuned in. Apparently they just meant it would be on again but when someone says, “Bones will be returning Mar 18th” I assume they mean new episodes.

You feel me?

Over the counter

Wednesday, March 24th, 2010

There are many different drugs on the shelves of your local pharmacy that were once restricted to use only with a doctor’s prescription. If you are looking for phentermine without a prescription, then you may be able to find some places online to get that medication. Check out the reviews for this and other pills online and see what other people think of the treatment, then add in your own opinion if you’ve decided that it is the right drug for you. Make sure it’s the right choice for you by checking with your doctor first.

Bidding Begins

Wednesday, March 24th, 2010

We’ve gone and put a bid in on a house. There’s no telling if it will be accepted or not. There’s no telling if it is too high or too low since the price people put on the house when it’s a short sale might be really far away from what the bank is willing to accept and I’m REALLY fuzzy on how that works. In any case, it takes months and months (apparently) for something like this to go through but we’ve definitely got our hopes up (and signed about 50 pieces of paper) just to say hi to the bank.

Oh Joy.

Nutrisystem System

Tuesday, March 16th, 2010

There are no shortage of celebrities nowadays joining up with diet companies and showing off just how much weight they’ve managed to shed. The diet system, nutrisystem, is one of the most popular that you’ve probably been wondering about for a little while now. There are no shortage of people online that can testify to how the system worked for them. Ask your questions and lose the weight fast!

Pierce Brosnan Overload

Tuesday, March 16th, 2010

I must be on a Pierce Brosnan kick or something. I saw two of his movies this week and I didn’t really like either. One was the Percy Jackson movie and the other was Remember Me. About the first, I’d like to know how they expect me to believe that an entire horse’s body is hidden in a normal sized wheel chair (go watch it – you’ll see me confusion pretty darn fast). And about the second movie – let’s just say it’s not a chick flick like I must admit I hoped for. Look at me dangling that participle there. Gotta love it.

Here’s Cream in Your Eye

Tuesday, March 16th, 2010

I have previously stated that there is a treatment for every possible affliction that can bother, annoy, or sicken you. Now you may think that having baggy eyes is not that big of a deal, but then you probably don’t have that problem. For those of us with big bags hanging from our face, the idea of finding the best under eye cream is really exciting. It really is amazing when you can smile and people notice your smile and not your baggy eyes.

Blankets and Heat

Tuesday, March 16th, 2010

Finally there are enough blankets on the bed. Three for me and one for my husband. For some reason – even though he never really gets warm in the winter – he never feels cold. But he doesn’t stay warm enough to keep me warm (hence the need for three blankets) But of course it has just spiked to 80 degrees and even I can’t sleep under three blankets in 80 degree weather. It’s a normal catch 22.

Working Weight Loss

Tuesday, March 16th, 2010

Don’t you really wish that at least some of the diets that you try are diets that work? I know I do. With so very many diets on the market, on the television, on the internet, and at the gym, what you really need is a great place to find diets that will work for you. Everybody’s different, and what may work for someone else, may not work for you. Good luck and enjoy your new body!

HBO is AWESOME

Tuesday, March 16th, 2010

It’s been a great couple of weeks. There really is nothing to get you down after you find out that HBO has given the greenlight production for a full season of “Game of Thrones”. I feel just like I did after finding out that Lucas was finally making another round of Star Wars movies. On the plus side, I have a good feeling that this series will be better than the hype.

With an amazingly outstanding cast, and really cool locations, and a tremendous script, we have every reason to hope that “Game of Thrones” is everything that the book is and more. I’m reading the series for the fourth time and am continually amazed at the depth of the story. How little comments by one character are so huge after you know what’s going on. This is gonna rule.

Insurance Adds Up

Saturday, March 13th, 2010

I was looking at pretty houses on line and thinking about all the add ons that come with a house. One in particular that caught my eye was right by a river. Now, I know the river is almost always dry except for about every 100 years when the reservoirs up stream get full and water has to be released so that the dams don’t break. That of course means that the pretty house I was looking at would flood which means I’d have to buy flood insurance (the disability insurance of the real estate world). And that would be on top of the mortgage insurance (because even though I’ve never made a late payment on anything I also can’t seem to save huge chunks of money and therefore have to have mortgage insurance) and home owners’s insurance and who even know what other kind of junk I’d have to put on top of that.

Suddenly that pretty house is looking like a HUGE money pit.

Sly Child

Saturday, March 13th, 2010

One of my poor kids is sooo cute. He hasn’t been allowed to watch TV in about two weeks (did something annoying/wrong and got into a heap of trouble by not stopping after the first 5 punishments). He told me that he was crying because the other kids in the family are addicted to TV and he never gets to see them anymore. He’s resolved to do whatever it takes to get off punishment so he doesn’t have to miss his siblings anymore.

The clever boy almost made me cave! But I already know he can cry whenever he wants because he pulled a joke on me that way once (giving away what could have been a mighty weapon in this battle called child rearing).

Decreasing Numbers

Saturday, March 13th, 2010

Bariatric surgery is not high on my list of things to do and since the number on the scale god I worship is going down, I wouldn’t qualify for it anyway. Not that I’m disappointed. I’d much rather lose weight on my own than get a surgery to do it for me (pride factor I suppose). That said, when they come up with that magic pill that you take one of and immediately arrive at your proper weight, I’ll buy it (my son’s waiting for flying cars, so I get to wait for this magic pill).

Relaxation

Saturday, March 13th, 2010

OOOOOOOOOOOOO. Good back scratch. My son is finally old enough to give a good back scratch. All I need to do is come up with the proper bribe and a well placed clock that he can watch till the 15 minutes of required scratching time is up. Top that back scratch off with the fact that it’s Spring Break for almost all of us and you’ve (and by ‘you’ I mean ‘I’) practically reached Nirvana.

Drug reviews

Thursday, March 11th, 2010

There are really so many different drugs and supplements on the market today that promise different kinds of weight loss. Mainly because there are so many people looking for an easy way to lose weight. There are now ways to rate how satisfied you are with a pill and how it worked for you. Rate phosphacore or other drugs if they worked well for you.

Dicotomy

Thursday, March 11th, 2010

My poor four year old daughter gets the voice of an 80 year old smoker when she doesn’t get good sleep. And last night she did NOT get good sleep. My other daughter had been crying a lot and since they share a room the four year old caught quite an earful. My boys also didn’t get sleep for awhile. Since I went to a movie and came home to a silent house well after bedtime, I didn’t know about this until this morning when I asked each of them how they slept. The chorus of “Not very well” was broken only by the voice of the crier who replied in her light fairy voice, “good”.

That time again

Thursday, March 11th, 2010

It’s time for that topic to come up one more time. There are certain times when your body needs a bit of freshening up. A cleansing that empties out some of the extra stuff that’s just hanging around. Be sure to give criticism or praise where it’s due and give a colonix review of how things came out for you with your last colonic. Enjoy!

Pepsi Max Cease Fire review

Thursday, March 11th, 2010

Usually I reserve my reviews for the television shows, movies, games, and books that attempt to entertain me. Occasionally, there is something to review that rises to that level of my attention to get a review of its own.

Pepsi Max Cease Fire is not good. I mean really, really not good. I’m not really sure who is responsible for combining the flavors of lime and diet pepsi, but they need to rethink that whole plan. The worst part by far is the marketing campaign that suggests that this drink is tasty because it has a hint of lime. I think the word they were looking for was an overpowering assault of lime-ish-ness.

Pepsi, you fail.

Pasta Pooch

Thursday, March 11th, 2010

My husband got me started on a low pasta kick and I’ve managed to lose weight. It’s not like I’ve dropped 50 pounds but I have shed a few. For some reason I always over eat the pasta. Maybe because I like sauces or maybe because it’s so easy to chew (practice for when I lose all my teeth). Whatever it is I end up with a huge plate or pasta and marinara sauce or pasta and thousand island or something like that and I get really full but then I want to clean the plate and 5 pounds later…. my pants don’t fit anymore.

Bike Map

Thursday, March 11th, 2010

Google has all sorts of programs and features besides the search engine that you’re familiar with. One of the new features on their map page is the bike route map. If you’re interested in the safest and fastest way to get from one location to another in the city on your bike, then this is the webpage for you. It really is a handy tool for looking for a safe way to get around town. I’ve already started planning trips on my scooter.
