MANAMANA

The Muppets have always held a dear, dear place in my heart. Right next to, in fact, my Star Wars heart place. Once again the two have been joined for an amusing music video featuring Vader repeatedly singing, “MANAMANA.” It’s funnier than it sounds, and definitely better the second time watching it. Not as good the fourth time, but much funnier the fifth.

And yes, that was Spock. And yes, Artoo and Threepio do a great job as Statler and Waldorf. And no, I’m not ‘losing it’. And yes, the 14 second mark is the funniest thing ever.

Dollhouses

You never really realize how many different types of dollhouses there are out in the market until you have a little girl. Really. You can find your plastic franchise type dollhouses at just about any major toy store, but did you know that you can still find the classic style wooden dollhouses too? Colonial dollhouses, farmhouse dollhouses, log cabin Adirondack dollhouses, and even lighthouse dollhouses.

The Shield final season

I didn’t come into watching FX networks ‘The Shield’ until about the fourth season, but once I started watching, I was hooked. It’s a unique cop-drama with deeply flawed and unstable characters. This final season has finally seen the sins of the past catching up to Vic and his cop cronies. Each week I sit riveted and wondering how things will finally play out.

My personal guess is the “Hamlet” ending. Everyone dies.

With about three more episodes to go, we’ll all soon find out the final fate of the Strike Team.
