Where to Go for SEO Help

Tuesday, February 19th, 2008

If your business gets most or all of it’s traffic from the internet, you know that it is important for your product to show up early in search engine results.  But who has the time to find out exactly how to get that done?  That’s what Apogee Search is for.  Their Dallas SEO office can help you get your business to show up in the best results on MSN, Google, Yahoo and Ask Jeeves.  Then again, so can their Austin, Houston and Braintree, MA offices.

While you are exploring their site, think about what it will be like to be able to search for your business or product and not have to page forward  10 times to find it.  Think about how many times you have looked for something through a search engine and given up before you reach the 1,000,000 result.  Then think about how that won’t happen for your business anymore because it won’t be buried at the end of an endless list of other sites.

Although Apogee Search has alot of interesting  content on their site, I was especially drawn to their Search Engine Marketing Glossary which  you may want to make yourself familiar with.

Cuba Regime Change?

Tuesday, February 19th, 2008

Fidel Castro made it official today – he’s retiring.  But this doesn’t really mean anything has changed since his brother is expected to be ‘elected’ by the other leaders of the country as the next dictator.  The United States has said sanctions will not be lifted but that they hope this news will enable coutries around the world to help Cuba develop a democracy.

I read a brief history about him and was surprised to see that by the time he was my age, he’d conquered a country.  It makes me feel like I’ve been sitting on my duff.  But then again, maybe it was just alot easier to overthrow governments back in the 50s and I don’t have to be so down on myself. :)
