I get almost all my news online. The benefit of that is that I don’t have to spend money on a real newspaper. The downside is that I don’t get all those coupons that come in the newspaper either. Those things can be very valuable sometimes. Fortunately, coupons have also entered the digital age and I can access them online. Webbyplanet.com is one of the places you can find coupons though these aren’t for your foodstuffs like the ones in the paper usually are. This place has marketing partnerships with a bunch of companies that already have good prices and then gives you an additional discount. You use the discount code that you get from the website to make your purchase (usually online but sometimes in-store) or you click the link to the partners website and the discount is already applied. This is a quick, easy way to find what you’re looking for at a lower cost without spending the money on gas to find out what the deals are at all the stores.

Saturday, January 19th, 2008Reindeer Games
Saturday, January 19th, 2008My son thinks more highly of my abilities that I do. He saw that show, “Don’t Forget the Lyrics” and just because I could sing along in spots, he thinks I should go on the show. Little does he know that anytime I don’t know the words to a song, I just make them up. For example, did you know that it’s “Caribbean Queen” and not “Caribou Queen”? I just found out last year. I assumed it was a protest song about reindeer. Go figure.
Do You Pamper Your Car?
Saturday, January 19th, 2008The Arizona weather can really do damage to your car both inside and out. It’ll dry out your dash board and make it crack; it’ll erode your finish and you end up with peeling paint. In the case of my parents, it made their license plates peel. The design and state are completely gone. I’ve though recently about getting a car cover, though at this point it seems a bit pointless since the paint is already on it’s way out on my car. Without a doubt, if you have a nice car that you hope to preserve, get yourself a cover so that you don’t have to deal with cosmetic repairs as often as you otherwise would.
Gross Story
Saturday, January 19th, 2008This is a gross story, so skip it if you just ate lunch.
My daughter coughed up her milk today. She’s been sick for a few days now with the same bug my older son had this week. She’s totally miserable and it gives her coughing fits every once in awhile. Today, she drank some milk, got a coughing fit and coughed up her milk. It just kinda slid out of her mouth. It hadn’t even had the chance to make it all the way down.
Needless to say, it was disgusting but maybe now I know what it looks like to see a cat cough up a hair ball.
