And for all those down Australia and New Zealand way where it’s already tomorrow: Happy Boxing Day!

Earlier this morning I found an amusing but popular search on the internet. Is Walmart open on Christmas? Maybe it’s just me, but I find it amusing that shoppers and parents who need last minute gifts, batteries, or video adapters are using google to find out if Walmart is open on Christmas instead of just calling the store nearest their home.

So what’s the answer?

No, they are not open on Christmas. They gave all of their employees the holiday off. Or if you hate all things Walmart, the faceless corporation prevented their poor, indentured servants from earning holiday overtime pay. I guess it depends on your perspective.
